Printer Design

The Canon Pixma mini260 photo printer looks adorable with the 6.3 cm TFT screen visibly fixed on the top of the printer. The printer’s screen has the tilting facility and with an optional battery pack it becomes completely portable. The whole printing process is amazingly straightforward. With the Easy scroll wheel, the user can select any printing options from the screen. The photos could be previewed and edited before giving the print.

The printing technology is based on Ink jet technology. The printing technology of PIXMA class is boldly stated by Canon as Precision printing. This is possible because of large number of closely packed nozzles which are capable of firing small ink droplets in the range of 1 picolitre. The Fine print head technology which is nothing but one of components of Chromolife 100+ encapsulates the nozzle arrangement and spraying.

The FINE print head also assures the fastest printing speed. Comprising of all the afore said features, the Pixma Mini 260 resolution is shifted to a higher range viz 9600 x 2400 dpi.
